360-Degree Authenticity: Discovering and Communicating the Real You with Confidence by Lisa Oake

Many professionals feel like they're juggling two versions of themselves-one for work and another for their personal lives. But does this duality help or hinder success? In this dynamic session, Lisa Oake, former CNBC presenter turned executive counsellor and media coach, explores how leaders can cultivate inner peace and authenticity across all aspects of their lives while maintaining professionalism and credibility.

At the heart of authenticity is self-acceptance. In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • Understand why professionals often feel pressured to adopt different identities at work and at home.

  • Let go of shame and the need to appear perfect.

  • Embrace radical honesty with themselves and others.

  • Challenge the negative inner voice that undermines self-confidence.

  • Align personal values with professional presence.

  • Use communication techniques to express authenticity while maintaining influence.

  • Build trust, confidence, and connection with colleagues and clients.

  • Handle media interactions and leadership moments with genuine authenticity.

This session offers a roadmap for professionals to embrace their true selves, communicate with clarity and confidence, and enhance leadership presence, client relationships, and overall success.
